• Castrol Classic XL 20W-50 is a conventional multigrade engine oil of good all round performance, formulated with high quality mineral oils plus selected additives, ideally suited to older technology and classic car engines.
• Castrol Classic XL 20W-50 is designed to meet the motor manufacturers' requirements for passenger cars and motorcycles running under normal service conditions, but excluding those equipped with catalytic converters. 
• The prime recommendation is for all pre-1980 petrol engined vehicles requiring a high quality product but with an older technology additive formulation.

• Castrol Classic XL 30 is high quality monograde engine oil which is also used in most types of manually operated gearboxes fitted to vintage and classic cars.
• Castrol Classic XL 30 contains selected additives to control high temperature 'varnish', give good anti-wear performance and prevent the build up of low temperature 'sludge'. 
• Cars  - Summer use in all types of petrol engines Winter use in engines which would otherwise have a high oil consumption Manually operated gearboxes
• Motor Cycles - Winter use in most twin-cylinder 4-stroke engines Certain scooter gearboxes.

• For pre-1950 cars and pre-1970 motorcycles 
• Castrol Classic XXL 40 is high quality monograde engine oil recommended for single and multi-cylinder engines under road and competition conditions. 
• Castrol Classic XXL 40 contains selected additives to control high temperature 'varnish', give good anti-wear performance and prevent the build up of low temperature 'sludge'. 
• Castrol XXL 40 must not be mixed with either Castrol R 30 or R 40 or any other synthetic or castor/synthetic based oils. 
• Cars - Summer use in all types of petrol engines. Winter use in engines which would otherwise have a high oil consumption. Some manually operated gearboxes .
• Motor Cycles - Summer use in most twin-cylinder 4-stroke engines. Certain motorcycle gearboxes

• Castrol Classic GP 50 is a mineral based oil of high viscosity with some anti-oxidant and load-carrying treatment.
• Castrol Classic GP 50 is suitable for applications requiring an oil of high viscosity and relatively low performance level such as older (vintage) engines and some motorcycles.

• Castrol Valvemaster Plus provides an octane boost to unleaded fuel, reducing pinking, knocking or the need to retune. One millilitre treats one litre of fuel

• Castrol ST 90 gear oil is formulated with high quality mineral oils to SAE 90. Castrol ST 90 is formulated with sufficient anti-oxidant and anti-wear additives to ensure that the oil is able to withstand the oxidising conditions which will be present in the gearbox during service and to ensure that the gear teeth are protected against wear should the hydrodynamic fail under extreme load.
• Castrol ST 90 is suitable for the lubrication of most types of gear including helical, spur, bevel and worm, but must not be used for hypoid gears which require special extreme pressure lubricants. Castrol ST 90 is ideal in commercial vehicle gearboxes and is recommended by many commercial vehicle manufacturers for this purpose.

• An extreme pressure suitable for non-hypoid and hypoid differentials and some manual transmissions. 
• API GL4 specification.

• Monograde 'straight' high quality oil for most types of gears, including helical, spur, bevel and worm.
• It must not be used for hypoid gears requiring extreme pressure oils.

• A special, rubber compatible grease for use on hydraulic brake and clutch components where hardening or swelling of rubber must be avoided.
• Useful in assembly of rubber components for brake, clutch and suspension units.

• Hard consistency grease for vane and gland type water pumps. Mostly for pre-1940 automotive applications.

• The Castrol Spheerol L-EP range of greases are lithium based general purpose extreme pressure greases, based upon mineral oils and incorporating extreme pressure agents to protect bearings components subject to heavy and shock loadings.
• Castrol Spheerol L-EP greases are available in a range of consistencies to suit most applications, from an NLGI 2 for general purpose bearing lubrication to an NLGI 0 self-levelling grease suitable for centralised lubrication systems and grease filled gearboxes. 
• Being lithium bases, Spheerol L-EP greases have good water tolerance, are resistant to water washing and incorporate powerful rust inhibitors to protect bearing components against corrosion.
